Degory Bath's wife looks to be Sarah Prest a 'widdow', perhaps the wife of William Prest who died and was buried 26 January 1693, over a year before she married Degory 31 October 1694. She would have been Sarah 'Hopper/Hooper" and the 'Prest' family members named in Degory's will would have been those who likely were related to Sarah through her first marriage to William Prest/Priest? The will of Degory Bath names 8 of the 10 children of his brother Roger Bath, with and no children of his own. The presumption is that by the date of the will's writing, Roger's other two children were deceased, namely the first Roger Bath and a Degory Bath, both shown below from parish records. Also shown here is the further information from the will of John Bath, which names those highlighted in YELLOW. Roger Bath = Honour Chapman cb 7 Dec 1674 | Egloskerry | m 28 Mar 1705/6 | N.
