Our family heritage, it is what makes us who we are in many ways. And like most, my, Grandma Rosie's and your heritage is mixed among many places and many countries. To keep it simple Rosie's or Fualosa's family originates from Western Samoa and from China. Aso Chou Lee from China married into the Chiefly Tanuvasa family on her parent's side.

As for my self to start, my ancestry comes from three relatively recent locals. My parental grandfather was born in Cornwall, England. His people lived there for over four centuries prior to which, the namesake family line relocated from its Welsh/Cymry origins of Wales to Cornwall towards the end of the Welsh - British conflicts. In Wales this family has male line heritages into the royal houses of the Princes of Powys and back through traditional genealogies to Adam. Much of this genealogy is of my own work in connection to putting the many genealogical and historical documents and histories together back until the more traditional historical genealogies of the Cymry take over.

My maternal family origins are from colonial North Carolina where my mother's parental line appears in the Albemarle Sound area in the very early 1700s and late 1600s, and therefore for about four centuries there. Much of this genealogical work is mine with some connections with other's work. From these origins, some of my relatives fought on the side of the Confederate South.

My father's maternal family is of New England states from the very early colonial days for about four centuries and then from thence. It is these lines that are most widely researched by others, and I've relied on their work.

So from the North and South United States, and from England across the Ocean; are my most closely associated connections. Like most, I have many national heritages from the national family names from which I descend. Welsh, German, Scottish, Irish, French, Cornish, and British; Hendower, Schwanner, Hale, O'Quin, Lanier, Trout, and Blount to name a few. These are the surnames of my ancestors. It is from these three regional areas that I can trace my ancestry for about 400 years. And with some lines continued across oceans and into other countries. But that is another story.

For now, and for those interested, I have built links to other pages which further delineate my heritage.
