Jesus, Who Is Jehovah
Defines Himself
AS only God can do, Jesus, who is the same as the reigning Spirit God of the Old Testament, defines himself. Listen to the very words of the voice of Jesus Christ who is Jehovah:
"HEARKEN and listen to the voice of him who is from all eternity to all
eternity, the Great I AM, even Jesus Christ —
"The light and the life of the world; a light which shineth in darkness and the darkness
comprehendeth it not;
"The same which came in the meridian of time unto mine own, and mine own received me not;
"But to as many as received me, gave I power to become my sons; and even so will I give
unto as many as will receive me, power to become my sons.
"And verily, verily, I say unto you, he that receiveth my gospel receiveth me; and he
that receiveth not my gospel receiveth not me.
"And this is my gospel—repentance and baptism by water, and then cometh the baptism of
fire and the Holy Ghost, even the Comforter, which showeth all things, and teacheth the
peaceable things of the kingdom."

Christ — Jehovah further spoke concerning himself and in relation to the Father, saying 'Thus':
"THUS saith the Lord your God, even Jesus Christ, the Great I AM, Alpha
and Omega, the beginning and the end, the same which looked upon the wide expanse of
eternity, and all the seraphic hosts of heaven, before the world was made;
"The same which knoweth all things, for all things are present before mine eyes;
"I am the same which spake, and the world was made, and all things came by me.
"I am the same which have taken the Zion of Enoch into mine own bosom; and verily, I say,
even as many as have believed in my name, for I am Christ, and in mine own name, by the
virtue of the blood which I have spilt, have I pleaded before the Father for them."

How is Jesus Christ our God? Jehovah, who was and is the same as Jesus Christ, is our 'Ministering God' under the direction of Our Father Who Art in Heaven, that Man of Holiness, Hallowed [Holy - Sanctified] Be His Name.*Matthew 6:9 They are not the same being, but separate entities, though they are and work as one force together.
He has and doth plead before the Father for our souls. He stands as our
Advocate: 1 John 2:1, D&C 29:5; 32:3; 45:3; 62:1; 110:4, JS-History Note: 7,
our Intercessor: Isaiah 53:12, Romans 8:26-27; 8:34, Hebrews 7:25, 2 Nephi 2:9-10, Mosiah
14:12; 15:8,
and our Mediator: 1 Timothy 2:5, Hebrews 8:6; 9:15; 12:24, 2 Nephi 2:27-28, D&C 76:69; 107:19
John's Gospel Witness of the 'Word':
"IN the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
"The same was in the beginning with God.
"All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
"In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
"And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
"There was a man sent from God, whose name was John [the Baptist].
"The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him
might believe.
"He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
"That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
"He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
"He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
"But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to
them that believe on his name:
"Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man,
but of God.
"And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his dglory, the glory as
of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."

John's Further Testimony of Christ - Jehovah
"And John saw and bore record of the fulness of my glory, and the fulness
of John's record is hereafter to be revealed.
"And he bore record, saying: I saw his glory, that he was in the beginning, before the
world was;
"Therefore, in the beginning the Word was, for he was the Word, even the messenger of
salvation —
"The light and the Redeemer of the world; the Spirit of truth, who came into the world,
because the world was made by him, and in him was the life of men and the light of men.
"The worlds were made by him; men were made by him; all things were made by him, and
through him, and of him.
"And I, John, bear record that I beheld his glory, as the glory of the Only Begotten of
the Father, full of grace and truth, even the Spirit of truth, which came and dwelt in
the flesh, and dwelt among us.
"And I, John, saw that he received not of the fulness at the first, but received grace
for grace;
"And he received not of the fulness at first, but continued from grace to grace, until he
received a fulness;
"And thus he was called the Son of God, because he received not of the fulness at the
first.
"And I, John, bear record, and lo, the heavens were opened, and the Holy Ghost descended
upon him in the form of a dove, and sat upon him, and there came a voice out of heaven
saying: This is my beloved Son.
"And I, John, bear record that he received a fulness of the glory of the Father;
"And he received all power, both in heaven and on earth, and the glory of the Father was
with him, for he dwelt in him."

"MY COUNTRY 'TIS OF THEE"
~ IN GOD WE TRUST ~
"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." ~ John 14:6
Not only does God, Jehovah/Jesus Christ, anounce to the Book of Mormon prophet Nephi that 'He has consecrated this land ... and that this land is a choice land unto God above all other lands' (2 Nephi 10:10), but God has also pronounced to Moroni and other Book of Mormon prophets such as the Brother of Jared, Mahonri Moreancumr, that 'this land is a land of promise and all who posses this land should serve him, the true and only God, or they will be swept off when the fulness of his wrath shall come upon them.' (Ether 2:8-10) And the prophet Moroni, who has seen our day in vision, does state, 'This cometh unto you, O Ye Gentiles, that ye may know the decrees of God——that ye may repent, and not continue in your iniquities until the fulness come, that ye may not bring down the fulness of the wrath of God upon you as the inhabitants of the land have hitherto done." (Ether 2:11)
And yet doth America vote to support such a government platform which mocks
at God to niether mention his name nor recognize that he is the God of this
land as the Democrat Party has done and the voice of the American people have
so supported that party in their vote for such as the Democrat Ticket of
Barack Obama. And Moroni goes on to again state:
"Behold, this [Americas] is a choice land, and whatsoever nation shall posses it shall be free from bondage, and from captivity, and from all other nations under heaven, if they well but serve the God of the land, who is Jesus Christ, who hath been manifested by the things which we have written." ~ Ether 2:12
In this our forefathers in America got it right. This land is God's land dedicated to living by God's laws and commandments, and receiving God's blessings. They were inspired of HIM to form this nation dedicated to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness; and to the freedom of worshipping of God Almighty. And so it is that Jesus Christ, who is the same as Jehovah, is the God of this land and so rightly we do sing the song/hymn 'America', which pronounces him as our God and King. And this in place of the national song of Britian which sings unto an earthly monarch rather than to that God who is our Savior and King.

I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America,
and to the Republic for which it stands,
one Nation under God,
indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
This is the 'Pledge of Allegiance' of the United States of America. Any who do not so pledge their undying allegiance thus is not an American. Any who oppose such allegiance is an enemy to not only America but also unto God. To not include God, whom we so pledge this nation to be under, is un-American. And any such person, organization or effort to remove God from being the recognized head of America is an enemy to Ameirca and stands in treason to this nation, be they the ACLU, the Democrat Party, the non-belivers in this our Great God and King, or whosoever so stands against Him our God who is the God of this land as proclaimed in the American scriptures of the Book of Mormon. They are not a welcome citizen of this land and they are in danger of the wrath of God to come upon them when and as the fulness of His day and time does come.
